Christmas Dates and Information

Please find outlined below important dates and information for the coming weeks! I will also send out a paper copy later this week. A copy will also be displayed on the classroom window!


Christmas Timetable
We are doing our best to keep up with things, outlined below are some key dates and information you will need for the coming weeks.
·        Monday 3rd December
All costumes for the Christmas production to be in school.
Parents Workshop – Maths Teaching – 2.40 in the School Hall. All welcome!
·        Friday 7th December
Dress rehearsal for school and local nurseries.
·        Monday 10th December
First production of ‘Born in a Barn’ – 2.00pm. Tickets on sale from the office. Children can be collected from the performance.
·        Tuesday 11th December
Late production of ‘Born in a Barn’. All children to remain in school at 3.20. We will provide them with a drink and a snack. Performance starts at 4.00. All children to be collected after the performance or around 4.40 outside the classroom.
·        Wednesday 19th December
Popcorn, Paddington and Pyjama party. Children to bring pyjamas in a named bag into school ready for our film. Please return permission slips to the office as soon as possible.
·        Thursday 20th December
Pantomime Day! Children DO NOT need to bring any bags or drinks bottles to school. Children having packed lunch please bring in a disposable bag to avoid left lunchboxes. All children to be collected from the classrooms.

Costume Letter

The costume letter for the Christmas production has gone home. There is a copy on the classroom window but I have also attached it below. Dear Parents, The KS1 Christmas production “Born in a Barn” will be taking place on Monday 10 th December at 2pm and Tuesday 11 th December at 4pm. On Monday 10 th children will be ready to come home at 3.20pm or you may collect your child/children as soon as the performance finishes from the classroom door at 2.40pm approx. On Tuesday 11 th children will stay at school until the performance starts. Drinks and snacks will be provided at school and they will be ready to be collected from the classroom at 4.40 pm approx. Tickets will be on sale soon and we will keep you posted about availability.
