Costume Letter
The costume letter for the Christmas production has gone home. There is a copy on the classroom window but I have also attached it below.
Dear
Parents,
The KS1
Christmas production “Born in a Barn” will be taking place on Monday 10th
December at 2pm and Tuesday 11th December at 4pm.
On Monday 10th
children will be ready to come home at 3.20pm or you may collect your
child/children as soon as the performance finishes from the classroom door at
2.40pm approx.
On Tuesday
11th children will stay at school until the performance starts. Drinks
and snacks will be provided at school and they will be ready to be collected
from the classroom at 4.40 pm approx.
Tickets will
be on sale soon and we will keep you posted about availability.
Costumes for KS1
Christmas Production “Born in a Barn”
Please find
below our list of costume requirements for the KS1 Christmas production “Born
in a Barn”. Costumes need to be in a
named carrier bag and in school by Monday 3rd December.
Please can
you only provide what is on the list for your child/children’s role, this is to
ensure that everyone has a costume that matches and that every child feels
equal.
Cockerel – bright
t-shirt with lots of tassels. Dark trousers/jogging bottoms/leggings. Any
appropriate accessories.
Owl – dark
trousers/jogging bottom/leggings and brown t-shirt. Wings if possible. Any
appropriate accessories.
Dog – brown
trousers/jogging bottoms/leggings and t-shirt. Any appropriate accessories (a
squeaky bone!)
Sheep – black
trouser/jogging bottoms/leggings and a white t-shirt. Masks will be made in
school.
Donkey –
Donkey Costume!
Cat – black
t-shirt and trousers/jogging bottoms/leggings. Tail and ears.
Mice – grey
trousers/jogging bottoms/leggings. White or grey t-shirt. Masks will be made in
school.
Cow – black
trousers/jogging bottoms/leggings. White t shirt with black patches. Simple
tail. Masks will be made in school.
Camel – brown
trousers/jogging bottoms/leggings. Brown t-shirt. Masks will be made in school.
King - Traditional
Nativity Kings costume. We will make matching crowns in school.
Inn Keepers-Traditional
Nativity costume, tunic and headdress. (Think shepherds!)
Angels-plain
white clothes, sparkly if possible. (No wings or halos please.)
Shepherds-
Traditional Nativity shepherds costumes. White T-shirts and brown/scruffy
trousers. (No dressing gowns please as the children get very hot wearing them.)
Mary and
Joseph -Traditional Nativity costume.
Bird – bright
trousers/leggings /jogging bottoms and a bright t shirt. A small pair of bright
wings. Masks will be made in school.
Pig – pink
or brown trousers/leggings/jogging bottoms and a matching t shirt. Masks will
be made in school.
Sheep – black
trousers/jogging bottoms/leggings. White t shirt. Masks will be made in school.
